Well, once again we started and we ended 31 Days Of Poetry for the year 2013. It was fun all the way and we appreciate those who took the journey with us.
Firstly, we would say ‘Thank You’ to the frequent viewers from USA, Nigeria, Germany, Ukraine, France, United Kingdom, Poland, China, Russia, India; and those who tweeted / shared poetry online with us such as Chiedu Ifeozo, Dike Chukwumerije, Kukogho Iruesiri Samson, Matthew Adedoyin, Soonest Nathaniel, Olarewaju Metamofosis, Opeezy Mr Money, Yomi Akinlaja, and the lot we may not be able to mention for the sake of space.
Unlike last year, downside in doing 31 Days of Poetry was not much this time-save for few internet difficulties which we were able to manage. But the upsides were far better. Even the viewers were more than what we had last year. It is however saddening that we were not able to feature all Poets who submitted their Poems for this year, because we already had 31 Poets before their Poems arrived. So sorry, as you know, featuring more than 31 Poets on a 31 Days poetry event will render changes to the aim of the event. Nevertheless, we promise to feature Poets/writers more frequently on the blog henceforth (Starting with those we could not feature during the 31 Days and Poets who submitted more than one piece).
Lastly, our ‘Thank you’ will be incomplete without appreciating the Poets whose good deeds by supporting the event with their poems made it a success; without you participating, the event could not have been successful. THANK YOU… Paul Okunola, Eriata Oribhabor, Poetry Knight, Efe Paul Azino, Kukogho Iruesiri Samson, Femi Owolabi, Da More, Olarewaju Metamofosis, Ebenezer Akinrinade, Su'eddie Vershima Agema, Dolapo Ogunwale, Yuriy Grigoryants, Street Poet, OTB, Oluwatobi Sotanmide, Enigmatic Olumide, Razaq Ivori, Dike Chukwumerije, Obii, Rolands Ndu Akpe, Thickcode, Yomi Akinlaja, Bob Ekat, Chantell Siler, Femi Amogunla, Ndukwe Onuoha, Uche Uwadinachi, Simpson Toks, Ola Writes, Ronke O'tega, Prince Adewale Oreshade.
And Thank you for reading again!
