31 DAYS OF POETRY- DAY 23- NO MATTER THE TIDE, CHANGE THE WORLD- by Kemjy Xtien

If I had told you
That tomorrow
Was the beginning of your end,
And you got to know
The sound code
Your destiny prescribes,
And also knew
That all life takes
Is your breath; first and last,
And even experienced
A filtration
Of your neighbour's future;
If I had warned you
That yesterday
Was the sister of grief,
And you stumbled upon
Your secret:
Being related to happiness,
And you awoke
Realising that
Our lives owe each other,
Accepting our diversity
Would you change the world
Despite ills you see?
