We
may be verses
Upon
pages
But
flip away
We
are a collection
Of
the same tome
Scrawled
in dissimilar inks
At
the end of each scribble
We
are collected in tranquility;
Lives
on pages
We
belong to the same stack
Our
sun watches over us
And
days run into the moon’s arms
We
sing in tones of bliss
As
the earth hides
Behind
Apollo’s back
We
hide with it
Long
after the earth paves in
We
belong to the same stack
