ALONE- A Poem by Tosin Faith Kolawole- Poet of d Week 180515

If I ever told you I am never alone,
I spat deceit into your flabby ears
And made you dance to the tune of my
Cracky sonorous voice

Yes! Alone!
Spinning and weaving words
With NEEDles of metaphors
And S(I)MILES coated to the glance of its beauty

Alone;
Smashing thoughts at the wall
And watch them return as carved words-
Personified;
Talking one on one with me
In rhymes and rhythms

Alone with words, saves lonely moments
Poetrys accompany leaves me in Pun;
Striking, beating, pounding-
Letters in ecstasy

And in the garden of word play
I am alone, blessed with words
